The Politics of Aid and Health Care in Cambodia (three weeks, 2006)
With both academic and volunteer components, this course examined the politics of humanitarian aid delivery in Cambodia, with visits to hospitals, clinics and non-profit organizations in Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap, with side visits to historical sites.

Cross Cultural Perspectives on Humanitarian Aid in Bangladesh (three weeks, 2007)
With both academic and volunteer components, this course examined humanitarian aid delivery from domestic and international perspectives. Students visited non-profit organizations, clinics and hospitals in Dhaka and Chuadanga.

Anthropology and Contemporary International Cinema
This course examines various concepts in cultural anthropology through the lens of award-winning international film directors.

Faculty Adviser, WCSU Humanitarian Travel Club
Advised students in organizing film and lecture events, developing fund raising activities, and volunteering with local non-profit organizations. In addition, I designed three alternative Spring Break trips:
Brazil, 10 students (2007), volunteers taught ESL and worked on a wetlands conservation project.
Ghana, 16 students (2008), volunteers taught children math, reading and art and built a classroom at an orphanage.
Cape Verde, 21 students (2009), volunteers conducted educational and cultural exchange activities at 10 schools on the islands of Brava and Fogo.
