Research and Writing
Since 1996 I’ve worked with the Dissertation Advisory Service as an assistant
advisor to doctoral candidates in education. This includes: assistance with the
transcription and coding of qualitative research; literature reviews; and editing
and rewrites of the client’s dissertation.
Whether for a press release, an in-house corporate newsletter, a web site or a
sales brochure, a concise, effective approach to conveying one’s ideas is
essential. Qualifications include:
- Writing and the solicitation of funding for newsletters
- Press releases
- Synthesizing information from academic publications for the general public
- Commentary
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
